Like most kids, Beckett is fascinated by balloons, but sadly has never had the opportunity to take one home (mean mommy), until today! I stood over him like a hawk - sure that the balloon would pop any minute and create the worst choking hazard we've had to date - but atlas, the balloon deflated before any true damage could happen. And now Beckett has a new word...it sounds a lot like "bath" and "ball", but he says "ba" a totally different way for "balloon" (I think I'm the only one that could tell).

He looks a little like a red Jack Ball in that last picture. :) This is his first take-home balloon?!?!?! Mean mommy...or shut-in mommy? hehe. just kiddin.
